My Maxtor with 5400rpm/120GB its _very_ silent, you can't hear it in a normal closed case
without any noise reduction addons. It keeps really cold during action, has 3 years
warranty and I got it on ebay for an affordable price, cheaper than the best prices on
geizhals.at.
