I had the same problem with linux-dvb.2002-11-01 (using the firmware 
supplied with this driver) and vdr 1.1.17, so I don't think it's related 
to the old firmware (at least on my machine).

I'll try to assign an non-shared interrupt to each card. I hope I can 
convince the bios ;-)
