[vdr] Aw: Re: Direct AC-3 yes or no ?

Thanks for the explanation.
At first I had some difficulties to understand why you first mention the syncproblem using a soundcard and then you say that there are no problems using the sp-dif out even with a soundcard as router.
But if I get you right, the problems are caused by the pci-transfer and there are eliminated
bypassing the pci-bus with the sp-dif connection.

Thank you for your hint.
I've been on your website before baut haven't looked into the downlowd section.
Now I've patched my vdr-1.2.1.
The new menu-items appear and I set them up as you told.
Multichannel=yes
DD/DTS=yes
But there's still only the pcm-signal.
To be sure if there is a problem with the DD-PID I made a recording.
Playing the recording back my amplifier turns to DD.
Do you have any idea?
