If you want to be sure, you can try vdr 1.1.27 and check if the proplem
disapear. If that's the case, try the patch which I posted some time ago.

Unfortunately I have no spare time at the moment, so I can't look deeper in
the driver-code as mentioned by Klaus. As soon as I've time, I'll continue to
investigate that silly error. Until then, use the mentioned patch, which is
a workaround and but not the final solution for this problem.

I've already debugged vdr a little bit and you won't find any useful data.
If this is the problem introduced by vdr 1.1.28, then you have to switch back
to vdr 1.1.27 to get rid of this error, but then you won't have the
enhancements of vdr 1.2.x.

It reverses the changes introduced by vdr 1.1.27-diff-c not more and not
less than that. I'm using vdr 1.2.5 with this patch for about 7 weeks without
any problems and full functionality of vdr. No nneccessary 
restarts, no UPT-error and so on.
