- Thread-topic: timer & resume suggestion
Hi,
this idea came into my mind.
When you set the timer for recording you got these
additional recording time (set setup menu / recording
pre and post recording buffer) in each recording.
Idea is to automatically make resume file when recording
at timer start time + pre-recording time.
- So timer starts at 19:28
- I have 2 minutes pre-buffer
- When recording VDR would create automatic resume.vdr pointing
to stream @ time 19:30.
This way I always don't have to rewind / jump those 2 minutes
from the start (or 5 minutes by default in vdr).
This isn't a great deal but it would be a nice feature. And
if show started 'early' or system clock was wrong you could still
rewind to show start time (if possible).
Best regards, Jori
