I now checked, I misremembered the details. CN comes labeled as two
soundtracks: english and swedish, with the "english" being mono
english on the left side, mono danish on the right side, and the
"swedish" with mono swedish on left, mono norwegian on right.

I called the HTV cable company, and they claimed that the reason they
do this is that many DVB-C desktop receivers can't handle more than
two audio channels total, though the spec says that two stereo or four
mono channels should be supported.

Anyone know if this is correct, or were they just BSing me?

I couldn't find these messages in the archives, does anyone have good
keyword ideas?
