Thatīs a good question - i think this depend also on the Quality of 
the Cable you use and if its "abgeschirmt".

My LCD is connected trough the Parallel-Port ad i iīm right - the specs
say that the max lenght of a Printer-cable donīt shultd be much longer then 5m.

But some years ago we used a 20m!!!long Parallel-Cable to a Printer wich
works very good for years....

So i assume you simple should try this out !
