[vdr] Hauppauge DEC 2540-T

Hi,

As well as a Hauppauge Nexus DVB-S card, I own a Hauppauge DEC 2540-T
box, which is a variant model of the DEC 2000-T DVB-T USB receiver.
This variant is made for the Dutch market, where a CAM is required to view
all but one channel. The box has a builtin Conax CAM, ie no CI.

Out of curiosity, I tried the box with VDR. I read there's only very limited
support, but what can I expect to work? I've come as far as having VDR
finding all the channels, just by entering the frequencies. It can tune to the
one non-encrypted channel (Nederland 2), but there's no picture or sound
on the video output of either DVB device.

Does the much improved CAM support in VDR 1.3 help getting close to
CAM support on these type of USB boxes?

Thanks,
Pim
