Hello again!
I recently bought a Pinnacle PCTV USB (310e), which at least works satisfactory with Windows. What really makes me mad is that I have to stop my operating system only to start Windows XP to be able to watch television or record some broadcast. One other thing is that the software that comes with the device doesn't suit me either. So I'm hoping that there will be a Linux driver soon, though at this time it seems that there is none.

Ich habe mir kürzlich eine Pinnacle PCTV USB (310e) zugelegt. Diese arbeitet nun zumindest unter Windows zufriedenstellend. Was mich daran am meisten stört ist, dass ich mein Betriebssystem beenden muss um das vorinstallierte Windows XP hochzufahren, wenn ich fernsehen oder etwas aufnehmen will. Die mitgelieferten Programme treffen auch nicht gerade meinen Geschmack. Nun hoffe ich darauf, dass es bald einen Linux-Treiber geben wird. Zur Zeit scheint noch keiner verfügbar zu sein.

I just bought a digital and analog device Pinnacle PCTV Hybrid Pro Stick (330e). I then found this great wiki site because I was searching the internet for some user experience on how to get this device running in Linux. I am not a programmer nor a computer genius, but I'd like to contribute as much as I can to get my DVB USB stick running (so you can see it is purely egoism that makes me contribute ;-)).
That's it for the time.
Update: I've returned this peace of equipment because it didn't work properly, neither on Linux nor on Windows.
For this reason I see myself sort of beeing “stand-by” in this Wiki; I'll be back again as soon as I own a proper device...

Ich habe mir kürzlich den digitalen und analogen USB-Stick Pinnacle PCTV Hybrid Pro Stick (330e) gekauft. Diese großartige Wiki-Seite habe ich gefunden, weil ich im Internet nach Erfahrungsberichten und anderweitigen Informationen zu diesem TV-Stick gesucht habe, die den Stick in Linux nutzbar machen würden. Ich bin kein Programmiere und auch sicher kein Computer-Genie, jedoch möchte ich gerne dazu beitragen, dieses Gerät in Linux nutzbar zu machen (was natürlich aus rein egoistischen Motiven geschieht...).
So weit, so gut.
Update: Ich habe den TV-Stick zurückgegeben weil er weder auf Linux noch auf Windows richtig funktioniert hat.
Ich bin daher in dieser Wiki sozusagen auf „Stand-By“ bis ich wieder ein derartiges Gerät besitze...
