Too long :-) That's why I switched fs from ext2 to reiserfs and had
nothing but trouble with it since. It seems there are some problems with
reiserfs and nfs. Some of them are supposed to be fixed in 2.4.3, but
well, that does not work with the dvd-driver and VDR.

There are some patches for reiserfs and the knfsd and a patch which fixes
some reiserfs problems. Well, they collide and I don't know how to resolve
this. Oh, well. I hope, the VDR will work with 2.4.3 soon.
