Why?  What exactly wouldn't work with the existing format?  I don't see
problems with multiple entries for one station, then doing a search and
pick something you want (any, sat prefeated, same TS with program foo,
whatever ...).

Ok, I wouldn't program that stuff in C but in xsl.  Point being?
