Your patch seems to contain all essential bits of the 2.6.10-rc1 
patchset. Gerd Knorr improved the videobuf code the saa7146 driver 
depends on, that's the reason the CVS driver is currently broken for 
2.6.10-rc1.

It's the questions whether the CVS driver should be really bleeding edge 
or if it it should at least compile with the latest official 2.6 kernel.

I think I'll incorporate the necessery changes into CVS within the next 
days, because 2.6.10-rc1 contains the long-awaited DVB patchsets, so 
people are likely going to try it out.
