Want to save power? Throw away that air conditioner, Build a new house
with energy saving technique's, avoid too much outside corners,
 use solar power for both electricity as warm water production, choose low
power equipment
(washing machine, freezer and so on) put out light that you don't need, do
not use
a normal lamp but TL or any other power saving lamp type.
It's not just that computer.

I'm more for a general approach that works for everyone or at least
...almost everyone :-)
