Hi Axel.

Why don't you do your recordings local on the machines which have the cards
included. Probably it has an harddisk big enough for the double space of one
record. After cutting the records (if you do that) you have written a
cronjob which move your vids to the machine locate at the attic ("dachboden"
;-) in background.
I hope you have a chance to watch your records using your dvb-s at the
machine on the attic with a hf-modulator or something like that.
