No, these entries are captions for applications on the current 
transponder and on other transponders, and are supposed to display some text 
if they were not broken.

I once read about applications using the MHEG standard in Britain. This is 
completely different from MHP. There may also be proprietary standards, I 
strongly hope they are dying.
I do not know about the current situation in Britain. It is also a question of 
politics to enforce the use of open standards btw.

If the service information signalling the availability of applications is 
received, there will be a line such as

Processing AIT 950

on the console.
