I checked out the chips on the CI interface they use with the Nova-CI 
and it looks like they are now using a programmable logic chip. 
So, I doubt you will find anything about the protocol you have to use 
to talk to it (or rather to the programmed logic on it).
It looks like it is connected to the DEBI port of the SAA7146. 

Reverse engineer the protocol, write a driver (+ CI stack), 
send me the patches ...
