Yep ... would be perfect for me.  This will help to do recording and
replaying on the same card with(out|less) glitches at least on my
33MHz PCI system ;^)
I can confirm this.
I have two test-systems. The first one is based on an K6-2 board with an ALI chipset. I had never big problems with this system.

The second one is basend on an Asrock KTVT2-board with a VIA-Chipset. I often had artefacts and blocky pictures during recording & live viewing.

This is gone with the latest CVS. :-)
