this seems to be ok, though the values I get are in general smaller.

Strange after a "... firmware lockup!" message a "fimware recovered!" or "...
firmware chrash!!!!" message should follow. Will have a look at the patch
again.

This is another problem my patch can't help here. If you don't get
"dvb_frontend_recover" messages before the hangups I don't know what could be
the cause for this. May be we should find more about the lockups while
channel switching first?

Don't think this would help on the channel switching problem. If we only want
to test this more first, you can also remove "dvb_frontend_debug=1", then it
might be easier to follow the albs_tdlb7 messages.

Please test again channel switching and if you get " ...recovered!" or "...
chrashed!!!!" messages after a "...lockup" message.
May be you could also try different values for MAXCHECKS (e.g. 50 or 150).
