[vdr] Re: Shutdown after recording



Not a joke, but i think we should give the shutdown-procedure an ear ;-)

1) The "power" button should only "mute"
2) The shutdown script can check to see if the volume is muted (every 5
Minutes or so)
3) If the user cant hear anything (volume = zero) it is a good assumption to
shutdown until the next record should be started.

The disadvantage about this is, that the vdr-box always has to start muted.
But this is only one keypress. Maybe it is possible to check if the boot-up
was initiated by the rtc?
