[vdr] Hauppauge Nova-T driver selection
I just bought an additional Nova-T card, but it's a bit different to my
old one and the driver that it uses doesn't work - and I can't seem to
find what it wants...
Old card
======
- small RF canister with raised daughter board next to it
- about 2 years old
- uses grundig 401 driver
- seems happy with budget & budget-core
New card
=======
- larger RF canister (wider horizontally)
- came with a remote control (that I don't use)
- never gets detected (by anything)
- has some headers near the PCI connector and the holes for a wide
connector along the top, but nothing soldered in
- lspci -v describes it exactly the same way as the old card (Nova-T etc)
I've had lots of issues with interrupts as my motherboard only allocated
three to PCI (slots 1/4, 2/5 &3) and if I get two cards sharing then
neither work, I hoped that APICS would have fixed this (given that PCI
gets interrupts 16, 17 & 19) but apparently not.
The question
=========
If you have one of these newer Nova-T cards, what modules do you use ?
