[vdr] vdrconvert Problem -- nonCRC stream from movies?

I think I've figured out whats going on with my attempts to convert my vdr 
recordings to dvd or mpg.

Using Project X and looking at the recordings, a regular TV recording looks 
like 480x480 with CRC while a movie is often 708x480 and nonCRC.  

Regular TV converts just fine and I can create a perfect mpeg without a 
problem.  With the movies I'm getting a bunch of errors saying it's dropping 
the useless B-frame.  I've tried to ignore the video errors to no avail.  

Any suggestions on how to get around this problem?
