Got everything working now (TV + DVD + AC3). Improved a lot all in all. I
thank everybody who helped. Some annotations about my testing with several
DVDs (AC3 and not AC3)

- after patching dvd-0.3.5b06 I had AC3 sound again but with some interrupts

- CVS checkout works after I applied the the vdr-1.3.16 patch from
dvd/patches to vdr. Perfect AC3 sound - no interrupts (the discussed comile
error seems to be fixed in CVS)

- One problem remained with a Queen live concert DVD ( 2 ch non AC3 + DTS ).
The intro plays well but the concert comes with picture and sound errors (
permenantly ). It works after pressing key 1 a few times (switch audio
channel). It seems like DTS brings trouble.
All in all everythings great for me because my AV receiver just plays AC3
and cannot deal with DTS.

Thanks to all
