[linux-dvb] Re: Hauppauge Nova-T Remote Control - Help!

I have not got as far as reading input events using lircd. I was jut pleased to
get any input events at all. I am currently working on a mythtv implementation
using a dvb patch found here: http://www.digitalregime.com/mythdvb/. The main
problem that I am finding with myth is what to do with channels that go on and
off air. Myth runs into problems when it tries to tune a channel that is off air.

The process that I have deployed so far is:

1) Download, compile and install the latest CVS snapshot of linuxtv-dvb.
2) Work out which modules need to be loaded to support the card that I have (I
thought I had got this part right!)
3) Test using dvbscan
4) Download latest CVS snapshot of myth
5) download the patch from http://www.digitalregime.com/mythdvb/ and apply as
per instructions.
6) Build myth and frig the database until I get it working. Yes, I am afraid it
is rather messy.

There should, I now realise be a 3a) test the remote control.

I think that is about it. I will let you know how I get on with lirc if you
like. I expect to be having a play with it later this week.
