I chose not to make any efforts to reduce noise (as it requires quite a
bit of work and for example the DVB card really should be cooled). The VDR
box is located in another room and is connected to my TV using a cheap 30m
BNC network cable with cinch adapters. The picture quality is surprisingly
good, I do not think super video cables would be worth the effort.
