[vdr] Re: MP3 plugin crahes at directory scan

Hi Stefan, Hi Juri, Hi Teemu, Hi all!

Yes

1008 directories and 7 files (Playlists)

If you mean restarting vdr and the driver by the runvdr script:
Yes, but somtimes the driver isn't reloaded since it says "device still in
use". VDR starts anyway but I can't use it, since the menu won't
disappear. I have to stop it with ctrl+c and then unload the driver with
make rmmod (wich curiosly works).

No, none.

"Scanne Playlisten", the vdr main-menu doesn't disapear

Not at the moment, since I just can't reproduce the problem.

I had a look at the directory and besides some "&" there are no special
characters in alle names (at first level of the directory).

Yes, they are and are working fine.

Yes I can and the plugin can, too. - I just have to restart vdr and
somtimes the driver. But I had a look at my logfiles on both servers and
besides the "mount" and "umount" entries of the nfs server there are no
messages (regarding nfs) at all.

In the meantime, I saw that you have released Version 0.8.3 and compiled
that and tested it as well. At the moment I do not have any problems at
all, with all three versions (the old from yesterday, the recompiled and
the 0.8.3 version). I tried the old version which didn't work, again,
since I had made an update of the whole vdr directoy before recompiling
the plugins. But at the moment the directory scan is as usual and even
after the 5th reboot and vdr restart and so on I had no error (not with
the old, the new or the new compiled version). I will continue to use
version 0.8.3 and watch it. I will tell you if and when it happens again.

Tanks!

Cheers,

Markus
