I'm not sure, if thia depends on the linux- or the Bios-version. I have 
two test objects:

- an EP-8K5A2 with Linux-2.4.26

  The date doesn't get completelly saved. After writing to
  /proc/acpi/alarm the enty looks like this:

   ****-**-DD HH:MM:SS

- an EP 8HDA3+ (Athlon 64, total geil :-)) with Linux-2.4.27 rc3
  The date gets completelly saved. But I need this machine every day :-(

Therefore I'm waiting for the final Linux-2.4.27 version.
