Two cards makes a deifference.

Well, I seem to be able to run into a lot of weird problems. :) But I'm
pretty certain of what I did, and the recording I ended up with contained
only what I actually saw "live" of the recorded show.

What happens then when you start a recording/timer and try to zap? Maybe
the other card isn't really disabled?
